Good Times!!

Happy 4th of July! Hope everyone will be with the ones they love this holiday! I have the most super friends Eric and Christine, I've known them a very long time, I knew Chris before she met Eric. She is my funny, witty friend that can take a troublesome situation and in no time have you in stitches, forgetting what was so troubling in the first place. Chris's answer to most undesirable challenges is always, "good times, yup, good times",with a sarcastic tsk and a disgusted sigh, oh yes and the dreadful roll of her eyes, you find yourself laughing and life feels good for a moment. One thing that has been hard for her and Eric to find any peace with is their battle with infertility, they have struggled with this their whole marriage. They joyfully welcomed Jacob 2 years ago and he is the light of their life! They are hands down the greatest parents and delight in every tiny thing their little miracle does, I mean everything!! They always knew, God willing, that they wanted to have more children, but also knew that infertility was an issue.

So, many months ago they started treatment for baby #2, the prognosis was grim as the problems that caused the infertility in the first place have worsened. They had received what was to be their last treatment in June. I know that they were heart broken to realize that the chance to have another child was quickly slipping away. Well, I received a call from Chris a week ago and much to every ones delight, they're pregnant!!! I couldn't be happier for them, and just when you think it can't get any better....TWINS!! Yes, twins,they found out yesterday and they are thrilled! We are so happy for them, I know the journey through infertility has been one of frustration and uncertainty, but patience and faith has great rewards. Christine, these are certainly...GOOD TIMES, YUP, GOOD TIMES!!
