110 DEGREES?!

WOW!!
That's it, WOW! Maybe it's just me, but when the temperature reaches 100 and whatever, it does something to me, something ugly. Bob always profoundly tries to explain, to whoever will listen that, "oh yeah, ya know, once it reaches 105 it's all feels the same". I don't know about anybody else but the difference between 105 and 110 is pure, sticky, uncomfortable, no where to hide misery, sort of like standing on the sun! Luckily, in the Bay Area we don't experience too many hot days like these in a row, I guess this wave is expected to last until Friday, but today is supposed to be 112! Good thing we'll be spared those 7 blistering degrees over that magical 105 mark-hee-hee:)
I am trying to prepare everything for our trip to the lake and realized that the sewing machine won't be going, I hadn't thought of this small detail. In search of things to do ,while Bob and Brent fish and Jenna and her guest.... well, pretend I don't exist, I figured I should find some stuff to do. I found a great web site for hand embroidery, they have the cutest patterns and the prices are great! it's called, http://sublimestitching.com, this is definately not your grandma's embroidery! I hope everyone gets a chance to check it out, it's great for even the first timer!! While preparing for this jaunt I ran across a small obsticle, my Otis was dianosed early this year with hip displasia, and I know it will be hard for him to keep up with all the walking we do at the lake, so I ordered a dog stroller for the little fella! I think he will love it, hopefully it will come in time! Hope everybody has a super day, and stay cool!!
